A few months ago we brought back the hat from "Disenchanted" for a little session for an art trade with =jumpingbean. The pictures were decidedly "glamour" but I took the opportunity to shoot a few with the noir feel again because the hat reminds me so much of such work. This is one of my personal favorites from the set and it is definitely because of this very strange composition. I couldn’t decide at first if it was good or bad but in the end I just couldn't let it go. I decided to convert to black and white and add a post-production grain to give it the feel I wanted. I will upload a couple of others from the set soon so you can see that this piece stands as out of place within them.

she just exudes film star charisma. the whole piece just has this feeling of barely-contained energy, like she's collecting herself before she leaves the refuge of her limo for the red carpet.
