One of the "stranger" shots from the never released "Pop Trash", I suppose. The series itself is odd in general. Probably why I have not released it in its' entirety. In addition, it was shot at a very weird time - Just before I snapped. During the shooting of "Pop Trash". I was still having good days and bad days as opposed to just the bad days, which of course shut me down. I had an unusual relationship with it from the start and shelved it almost immediately. You saw one individual shot in "Misled" early and more recently "Life On The Inside". Of course, that really doesn’t give you an idea of the series as a whole. And you know what? Maybe that is the point. I had, not only as strange relationship, but a confusing one as well. I was never clear on what I thought about it. I usually can get that idea very quickly and this just wasn’t that way. It is very interesting to go back now and look at. I suppose I have finally come to peace with "Pop Trash" . It certainly is important to the whole story of Steven Perry, if not entirely a cohesive one.

Interestingly, “Expiration” was an early shot but a late addition. I was not too fond of it then. Now, I am not sure what to make of it but it seems important to me for reasons I cannot understand. It was included as at the very end before I cancelled the series altogether.

So the series and me have a strange relationship and I don’t know what to make of it. I have come to terms with that. You haven’t seen enough to know what the hell is going on either so we are in the same boat.

I have always let my series work come to me.

Maybe "Pop Trash" refused to do so.

In any event, it lives….whether we want it to or not.

First of all, I'd like to say that your gallery is absolutely amazing to me. I had heard about you a few times in the past and so you've had a previous influence on me since then.but I could never find you until recently, I think it was because I was mis-linked, and I thought you were just another figment of my imagination... until I saw you'd featured one of my favorite male nude portraits. And That was when I started watching you. I only just got the opportunity to go through your gallery, and I apologize for filling you message box hit lots of favorites and collections and only one comment.

In any case, I really like this picture, along with the many I have favorited already. I am not sure what it is I like about this picture, it has a strange beauty. You have a wonderful body and your eyes are so shocking to me, in every picture I've seen of you so far, your eyes catch my attention first, and the expressions on your face. of course its not the same for other people you have taken pictures of, the flow of the phot starts in different places for different people and poses.

I cannot tell you how amazing it is to hear something like this. People are still feeling it, understanding it, and that makes me feel wonderful. Occasionally, it feels like maybe people have got complacent, that maybe I've become complacent. Things are a little quieter right now but the fight is still out there with me still in tow. I love the corner and the background..great use of negative space. I look forward to seeing the whole series. This would make an incredible book. Oh and excellent use of the 5o'clock shadow..well all shadows for that matter!

Dirty Little Secret!!
This image has just brought to life the way I have felt for the past 2.5 years..
Obviously for different reasons, but you Mister Perry, have just put my feelings into an image.
This speaks volumes to me.. so much so, the thought train is over flowing right now!!

I would give almost anything for the opportunity to work with you.. I believe we could get soooo much done in terms of relating thoughts to images.. something I have always struggled to do, but you just have the knack for it!!
I love you in so many ways, and adore the being you were, are, and will transpire into..
