My favourite piece from the series, definitely, for the sheer emotional impact.
I know this place. Just looking takes me right back there, I can feel my chest tightening as I watch. Only this time I get to turn round and walk away. . .
'The end of this particular phase' Yeah, like life, no real endings at all, no neat conclusions.

love the poses in 3, 5, 7 but the background is too pristine for the chains and makeup and emotional content of the pose

my stomach knotted up and i felt the familiar feeling of helplessness and (weirdly) guilt that i get when i see something like this can cant reach out to help and hug.
what an amazingly powerful and sad piece.
dispite being a little different from your usual artistic nudes this still has spider stamped all over it (not just in the watermark =P), its in the colours, in the brilliant pose and expression and in the sheer completeness of the picture.

It's strange. 'They' say that the victim has a look of 'come on' and some people will never be approached if they look confident. This person has such a look of vulnerability, that instead of wanting to help him, I actually want to go in and do him harm, as if he were asking for it.

His eyes are pleading for more pain, not for the pain to stop...
